1. The place represented in the picture is Harris Neck Park in Georgia. I went there with my aunt and cousins over the summer and it was fun 2. The trees were the most challenging part but they ended up turning out OK. 3. I think the texture of the dirt was the best part. 4. I found a picture I took and then I sketched it out and then I mixed some colors to use and then I painted the canvas all red and then painted layers of color over the red. After I had base colors down I started adding layers of different tones and shades. Then I added the trees and added some shadows in the bushes and grass. In progressFinishedMost Helpful Warmup

1. I learned a lot of things about painting and colors from these warmups. I did not know what colors were opposites or how to mix brown. I also didn't know how to make textures.
2. I think the color wheel warmup will be the most helpful because it shows how to mix different colors and what colors are opposites. 3. I learned from the textures and take my time and be careful with brush strokes because none of them turned out that well. 4. You can mix brown my combining opposite colors such as red and green, orange and blue, and yellow and purple. 5. You can tone down a color by mixing it with white paint. |
